that I am
for my life
was the moment
Dear Mimi, you have shared the story about your transformational journey of becoming a more confident and balanced person. What made you strive to become a better version of yourself and what helped you in particular?
The moment I realized that I am 100% responsible for my life was the moment everything changed for me. I can control the outcome of this life of mine, and so can you. All it takes is acknowledging that fact and letting it empower you, so you can truly blossom!
Are there particular books or podcasts that helped you in your transformational journey?
Yes! I love to read personal development books, and they have transformed my life in the most amazing way. The Success Principles by Jack Canfield was one of the first books that I read when I was in the beginning of my journey. Some of my other favorites are The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson, The Values Factor by Dr. John Demartini, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle and Mind to Matter by Dawson Church. The book that opened my eyes the most to the mind-body connection was Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza. I highly recommend any of these books!
If you could give an advice to your 16-year-old self, what would it be?
You can truly be anything you set your mind to be! The possibilities are endless for your life. Try to find something that you love to do every day. Meditate, experience all that you can, read books, take care of your body with healthy food and stay active!
What is your mindset when it comes to nutrition? What helped you achieve a more balanced relationship with food?
Nutrition is so important when you want to feel your best self, but you have to give yourself grace and find what works for your specific body. Just because something works for your friend or family member doesn’t mean it’s right for you. I struggled with balance in my diet for a long time, and I’ve tried all the diets like Keto and Paleo. Through trial and error, I found that those diets weren’t right for me. Now feel like I’m finally in an amazing spot where I know what makes me feel my best.
What is your ideal day foodwise?
For breakfast I start my day with coffee and usually have a smoothie. Lunch is typically sourdough toast with avocado, vegan cream cheese and tomato. For dinner, I love having a big buddha bowl full of veggies and high quality protein. For a sweet snack, I usually enjoy a few squares of the Hu Kitchen chocolate. It’s all about balance and enjoying what you are eating, with the right mindset and energy towards what you’re consuming.
You have created the “Mimi’s Favorite Mains” recipe bundle for our Health Bar App. Which meal do you prepare the absolute most?
I love a nourish bowl! So the Mexican Nourish Bowl recipe is a total go-to for me. Also… the Buffalo Cauliflower is AMAZING. Ben, my boyfriend, loves that recipe. They are all so good.,
Do you have particular routines in your everyday life? Why are they important for you?
Meditating is a non-negotiable for me. I have a morning routine that I’ve created that helps me set my intentions for my day and transforms my mood. It usually incorporates a Mimi Method Seated Meditation and/or a Writing MeditationTM where I can put all my ideas and thoughts down on paper. I can really tell a difference when I don’t start my day with a meditation. I also like to move my body in some way, but I usually will do one of my low impact Mimi Method active meditations which includes Pilates, Stretching, Walking and Running MeditationsTM. If I’m short on time the active meditations are a great way to get a workout in and meditate at same time.
Are there situations when you feel shy and uncomfortable? Which character trait would you love to gain or strengthen?
I’m rarely shy, but I definitely get uncomfortable when I see something I don’t agree with. The way that people talk to each other, especially online these days, can be really appalling. Dealing with internet trolls and seeing comments and rude messages from people gives me a really sad, concerned feeling. I truly wish the best for these people and try to send them love when I can! A character trait I’d like to strengthen… my tolerance towards those internet trolls, lol!
You have created you own App, the “Mimi Method”, please tell us more about it. What was your main objective while creating it?
Mimi Method is a guided meditation and movement platform that integrates a hybrid mix of visualization, manifestation, hypnotherapy and meditation. This unique blend triggers new neurological patterns that work to rewire and create new circuits in your brain! We also have active meditations that focus on the mind-body connection to enhance and speed up your results, while leaning out your body. Each meditation is created so you can experience true changes in your life while working towards your best self.
What is your life´s vision? Where do you see yourself in 10, 20 years?
Big questions here! I am excited for what the future holds for my business. In 10 - 20 years, I can’t wait to look back on the empire I’ve built from the ground up. On top of that, I can envision my future is full of babies and starting a beautiful family with my love, Ben. Lots of traveling, joy and abundance in my future!
What are your biggest realizations about romantic relationships? What helps strengthen it and be happy and in love?
Communication is key. Also, the biggest thing of all, WORK ON YOURSELF. Your relationships with others will only ever be as good as the relationship you have with yourself. Personal development work has made my relationship so incredible - so this is the biggest piece of advice I have for everyone out there.

What role does sport play in your life? How often do you train and what kinds of trainings do you prefer?
Pilates and walking are my two go-to forms of exercise. I’m not really a team sports kind of girl, I way prefer doing something solo like going on a long walk and listening to a podcast or a walking meditation. Pilates has really made a big impact on my physical body too, plus it’s super fun.
