Radhi Devluka-Shetty grew up in London with her indian family where food was always the center and kind of celebrated, what has certainly caracterized her.

The richly served table at home was very much celebrated.
That way of life shaped her when she was young. As a well-nourished child she was often being pointed out in school, so Radhi began to change her philosophy of life and nutrition.

First of all, your videos are full of a positive spirit. You also might have unmotivated days/ bad mood days when you get up.

What improves your mood or what advice can you give our readers to stay focused and positive as well in their routines?
Nature is always something I turn to when I feel low. A walk outside, fresh air, birds, trees, flowers. Always makes me feel better. And if it doesn’t then I’ll throw on my meditation music playlist, sing and dance my heart out ! And lastly if I find journaling extremely healing. Pouring out all your emotion into paper and really processing your feelings.

Did you ever had struggles to be your authentic self and not please or fit into society?
Yes. I feel everyone goes through that at some point in life. Getting to know myself better allowed me to understand myself more and feel comfortable in my own skin.

To live in the here and now what are your tips to live a more aware lifestyle and enjoying the here now?
Breathwork in yoga is considered the connector, the bridge between mind and body. So trying breath to bring you back into the present always helps me!

What are the most important pillars in your life?
1. My ‘sadhana’ which means my daily spiritual practices
2. Family

What advice would you give your younger self?
You are not bad at everything. Stop being lazy and start figuring out what you love to do!!!

You grew up in London with your family where food was always kind of in the center of everything. Was that the time where you recognized your passion for food?
Yes absolutely. I was surrounded by incredible chefs and vibrant food!

When and why did you come to Ayurveda?
The richly served table at home was very much celebrated. That way of life shaped her when she was young. As a well-nourished child she was often being pointed out in school, so Radhi began to change her philosophy of life and nutrition. She practiced yoga, began to meditate, studied nutrition and focused on Ayurvedic life wisdom. Radhi is now married to a well known life coach Jay Shetty, a sought-after YouTuber and social media star. She shares her healthy, plant-based recipes, natural beauty and skin care tips, as well as insight from the everyday life and her philosophy on her channels.I really started my Ayurveda journey in New York where I met a teacher Divya altar and started learning from her.  I absolutely fell in love with the concepts and felt like it was ‘home’ everything made sense!

Was the ayurvedic philosophy a big adjustment for you?
No not really as I come from an Indian family and many of the practices were similar I just didn’t realize the depth of them till I started studying.

What have been the most impressive changes since you practise Ayurveda?
Better gut health. Haven’t needed to use co conventional meditation. And better connection with my food.

What are your 3 natural beauty hacks for hair and skin?
Drink hot water not cold
Use natural oils
Eat a variety of seasonal vegetables as they have all the nutrients your skin needs at that time

What is your favorite dish?
Anything my mum makes!

Where do you take inspiration for new recipes?
Everywhere really. The world is full of it!

Cooking & being in the kitchen is one big part of your career. Do you still feel your 100% passion or does it sometimes feels like work?
A little of both but I remind myself of how lucky I am to be able to do something I love and then it doesn’t feel like work anymore!

You have a very structured morning routine that contains a long meditation. Is there an evening routine as well and what are you doing when it comes to travel days?
Yes, I read something spiritual before I sleep. Say a prayer. I avoid stimulating movies or music. And have a wonderful evening skincare routine I love!
When it comes to travel. I’ll be meditating on a plane 😂. Meditation is something u can take with u everywhere.

How does your everyday worklife look like?
Oh every day is a little different. Some days recipe creation, some day writing, some days meetings ! A beautiful mix of many things.

What was the best and the most challenging thing when you moved to New York/LA?
Being with myself for the first time. Spending time alone was not something I was used to. But I found it was the best thing for me so I am grateful for it.

Your 3 favorite spots in LA. ?
